In his works, Ole John Aandal uses photography two question the politics of the medium and how it shapes and charges our culture. Juvenilia is the voice of teenagers in a new media world where everybody is an artist and everything you can imagine is real. The images are found on the internet and are taken by teenagers. Aandal hasnt manipulated the images, however, put together in a format and removed from reviews their original context.
The book includes texts also by Edy Poppy, Susan Bright, David Bate, Nathalie Herschorfer, Eva Løveid Moster and Ole John Aandal himself, who interpret the series and discuss the topic further.
